Twenty-two years of doors, and one rule about keys
Locksmith El Campello is a mobile locksmith based in El Campello, covering the whole town and the four towns around it. The trade behind it goes back 22 years. There is no shop to visit: the van is the workshop, and the work happens at your door.
How the work is done
Four habits you will notice
- The phone is answered. At any hour, in English or Spanish, by someone who can tell you what is likely to be wrong and when someone can be there.
- The price is agreed at the door. After the lock has been seen and before anything is done to it. Payment by cash, card or Bizum.
- The lock before the drill. Opening through the cylinder comes first; destroying it comes last, and only with your agreement.
- Proof before opening. A door, a car or a safe is opened only for the person it belongs to, or with their permission.
The rule about keys
Work we turn down, every time
The one rule in the title of this page: keys are never made here. Locks are opened, repaired, changed and upgraded, and a new cylinder comes with its own keys, but none of the following is offered:
- Car keys: cutting, supplying, replacing or programming them
- Transponder keys and remote controls for vehicles
- Cutting, copying or duplicating keys of any kind
- Spare keys for homes, gates, padlocks or letterboxes
- Repairs to ignition barrels or ignition switches
- Keys for motorbikes, scooters or vans
